But let’s see together how to write a Curriculum Vitae in English

Writing a Curriculum Vitae in English: the differences between the US and Europe

Before you understand how to actually write a Curriculum in English, you definitely need to know the differences between an American Curriculum and a European one. First, there is a difference in nomenclature: the document you will present to companies in America is called a Resume, in Europe Curriculum Vitae.

Second, as you can imagine from the name, the Resume is a summary of your working life, very short, concise and without too much information about one’s personal life (photos, age children…) so as to avoid at the root any kind of discrimination. The C.V., on the other hand, tends to be much more detailed and to include even the information that would be frowned upon in America.
